I am running a parse server on Heroku. It’s been working fine, but today I just tried to add the option of email verification on parse’s node.js, and now the app doesn’t restart anymore on heroku. I committed to git many times before, but it’s the first time that I cannot restart the parse server app on heroku. When I check the heroku log, there is some error message saying:
2019-12-15T18:37:23.624208+00:00 app[web.1]: SyntaxError: Unexpected identifier
2019-12-15T18:37:23.624210+00:00 app[web.1]: at wrapSafe (internal/modules/cjs/loader.js:1050:16)
2019-12-15T18:37:23.624212+00:00 app[web.1]: at Module._compile (internal/modules/cjs/loader.js:1098:27)
I went back to the previous version (from more than a month ago) of the node.js by “git revert” command. So now, I see that the head of the git version is the one that has been working fine, but still, it crashes with the same error message as above.
I am very confused… Could anyone give me any advice on what might be causing this issue and how to solve it? My App is now down because of this…
